Michael LoConti began his musical journey on the bass but soon found his rhythm behind the drum kit at the age of 11. A self-taught musician, he honed his skills and later became a key member of his high school marching band. Growing up, he spent countless hours jamming with his brother Henry in the basement of their childhood home, where he developed his distinctive style. Michael’s unique sound, richly influenced by Latin grooves, reggae, and hip-hop, contributed significantly to the foundation of LoConti in 2022.

Michael was a determined student who graduated from Cleveland State University in 2024 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He approached every challenge with focus, perseverance, and the belief that “it’s not broken, it’s just not fixed yet.”

His commitment to learning and personal growth continues to inspire the foundation’s mission to make education and creative opportunity more accessible to others.
